Q: Why did you need a garden room?

A: I work mostly from home so I needed a quiet office space that would allow me to take the occasional work meeting at late hours of the day. We already have a small guest studio in our garden, but that often gets busy with family and friends visiting over the summer so we were looking for a new space for a dedicated home office. Okopod came recommended by friends of ours, who had recently built a garden studio. We were keen on a modern look, to fit in with the style of our garden, and were completely sold on Okopod after seeing some of the previous builds on their website.

How was the process?

A: The whole process was incredibly smooth and took no more than a few weeks from start to finish. Our biggest concern was around the size of the plot and whether it would be able to support a garden room that was big enough to work in. Luckily, the Okopod team has a lot of experience dealing with small builds and odd-sized plots, which gave us the confidence to press ahead with the project.

How are you now using your OKOPOD

A: I use the Okopod every single working day, and I’m loving every moment of it. The space, whilst small, is filled with light which makes it a pleasure to go to work every day — and the 1 minute commute doesn’t hurt either!
