The Brief

Our customers wanted to enhance their living experience and make use of the potential space on the ground floor that wasn’t being used effectively.  They were considering a Garden pod and loved the aesthetic and design of an Okopod which them approach our team. Their main attraction was the sleek design and fast and efficient build time using the SIPS construction method.  They were also really were keen to build something that had the least impact on the environment with sustainable materials and building methods that would require minimal maintenance.

The Process

Our customers said, ‘ The experience has been very positive, and I really appreciated the attention and assistance through the early stages of planning and construction.  The team were very flexible with unforeseen design tweaks and updates.  My first impression was that James and the OKOPOD team were ‘problem solvers’ rather than ‘problem makers’.’

The Result

The Oko_extension is now their main kitchen and dining room and they said ‘I’m sure will be the entertaining hub of the house’.  The additional space created has allowed more space in the main part of the house for a dedicated utility room for all their laundry and storage needs.
