The Process

Initial Meeting: After you have shown an interest we will contact you to arrange a site meeting where we will discuss your options and how the room will work in your space. We will assess if there are site preparation requirements and if so we can recommend trusted contractors to quote and carry this out.

Site Prep: In many instances the site is ready to go and will not require any site preparation, if site preparations are required then we can send a specialist contractor round to prepare a quote for the site preparation, from the initial meeting we will take photos of the area and access which is often enough to quote from. The approved contractor will work directly for the end client to keep costs to a minimum. We will then be in contact with the contractor and we will arrange a programme for installation, generally site preparation will only take a day and we can install the garden room immediately after this.

Foundations: Once the site preparation is complete we will have our specialist contractor install foundations for the garden room, in most circumstances we use a ground screw system but we can also recommend pad concrete foundations in both pad and strip formations when that could be a better solution. The preferable foundations alter depending upon ground conditions and access.

Roof Finish: After the garden room is installed our roofing contractor will come the next day to install the EPDM roof, this will generally take a day and after this the garden room will be 100% water proof and complete. Between the installation of the garden room and the installation of the roof we leave a temporary cover over the garden room. this cover is also 100% waterproof but it is a temporary roof cover with no longevity properties.

Guarantee: After installation we will issue you with your 10 year structural guarantee, this covers any structural elements and material defects, please see further terms and conditions of the guarantee.
